These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RateMyPosture.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

RateMyPosture.com lets you take or upload a photo and receive an estimated posture score, generated automatically in your browser. The Service also offers an optional free trial of personalized posture routines, which you can start by providing your email address.

2. Not medical advice

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Posture scores, metrics, and suggestions are informational estimates for general wellness purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical evaluation. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about pain, injuries, or any medical condition, and before starting any exercise program. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you saw on the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Free trial and subscriptions

Starting a free trial requires a valid email address. If a paid subscription is offered after your trial, its price, billing period, and cancellation terms will be clearly presented before you are charged. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid any charge.

5. Acceptable use

• Only scan photos of yourself, or of people who have given you their permission
• Do not use the Service in any unlawful or harmful way
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Do not misrepresent scores or the Service’s output as a medical assessment

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, text, and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You keep all rights to your photos. Because photos are processed on your device and never sent to us, we claim no rights over them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of scores, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Automated posture estimates can be wrong.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury arising from exercise or activity you undertake based on the Service’s output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).

9. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; the current version will always be posted on this page with its “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
